A long long time

•March 26, 2011 • Leave a Comment

It’s been such a long time since I last blogged.

I’m doing fine at my workplace, I liked the environment, the colleagues. But nevertheless, I wish and I hope I could gain more exposure and earn more.

This CNY I have learnt a lot… a lot.

I lost something that I dearly wanted and got it this CNY. We had reunion dinner together, with my mum, nieces, brothers and Justin. Just a short 10 days made me realise how much I love him. And definitely, he will be the cutest puppy I’ve ever had. I’m gonna miss him forever and I do know he is enjoying up there in heaven now. I thank Zico for saving my mum, I thank Zico for his 10 days here with me, I thank Zico for everything.

A month later, to replace the lost, I bought Cozi, a name which I thought so long so that I’m able to remember Zico as well. A direct opposit of his name –> Zico, Cozi. Same breed, looks abit like Zico, but I know he can never replace Zico. But I still treat him as dearly as I could and be more careful from now on. He’s here 13 days with me already. I really hope he is going to live healthily and Zico will look after him from up above for me.

Happy 2011

Happy New Year to Me, My Friends and Family (although none of my family member knows about this blog).

It’s been a long 2010, because I felt I’ve been through some hard and difficult times, getting me to make quite a few decisions this year round. It’s not easy, but I gotta accept it. Even until now, I’m still hoping for the best and hoping that this is what I really wanted.

That’s the past 2010. One of the happiest thing that happen last year is the moving of house! Yes, I have finally moved into my new home. It’s so nice, I really like the scenery. I hope my brother’s not going to sell this house away. It’s like, how many times or would you have any chance to get a HDB flat with such nice scenic view and accessible area (like near town) with such a cheap price? Just loving it!

Next, am proud to say I’m still going fine with my dear Justin, like 6 years! Yes! Of course nothing is smooth, but I want to remember the good things over here.

I haven’t come up with my New Year resolution, but I guess I will do it with Justin. One of it, would be to start jogging at my new area like twice a week, when my feet heals. And definitely, to pass my ACCA papers all at one go (well, money’s hard to come by, learnt it this year).

Just for sharing, my every morning view from my bed while lying down:

Teambuilding and Kallang River Vista

•September 29, 2010 • 2 Comments

Had my first teambuilding event today with TP at Sentosa! My life is so totally different compared to lane haha.. Loving it in a way la.

Had a few and yes a few only… activities supposedly to set us thinking and comparing it with the organisation that we are in. They played games which I have played many times before but I didn’t really voice out cos, I don’t wanna try to be hero plus I’m new here. Except for one game though and another where I totally lost clue on how to play it..

Overall, it was nice and I heart it. Least, I got to know more people through this event.

Besides this, I’m moving in to River Vista soon!!! So happy that I’m gonna be out of this terrible place asap. Hate it ever since I moved in here about 8 years ago. 1 more month baby! Weee

No longer Temasek Polytechnic, somehow, the initals still etched within me. Tuas Power!

Work’s not too bad, colleagues are quite nice, but have really yet to like really click with them. They somehow have their own jokes and own bonding.. But am glad they are nice people and willing to help and lastly, they are very chatty. Thats good cos I won’t have a stern environment. Anyway, everything’s so far so good.

I must say and admit that I still haven’t really got over the fact that I could be a graduate. Especially when I start working and I have a Executive who is younger than me but doing the same thing. Of cos, she a graduate and I don’t really have the rights to brood over this. Nevertheless, I’m still fine, she’s a nice gal afterall =) I just hope that my work, colleagues, and prospect will be uper good!

4 days work week this week and 3 days next week! Monday got medical appt and friday got orientation at TUAS. God, 7.30am must reach somerset, super early la. For the sake of going back home at 5+, It’s still good! On top of that, 29th going Sentosa for a teambuilding session. All programme’s lined up by the company… Coool!

New Job

•August 20, 2010 • 2 Comments

Got a Job at Tuas Power. Benefits is like Wooh! Ok, I better not say so much scarly I end up resigning again. Hopefully, I really can stay long there.

So many things happen like me resigning, withdrawing, finding new job, went for so many interviews and still getting a job within a month. I guess I’m really lucky.

Somehow Mindef rejected me and confirmed me again. Then after that still tell me that they are suppose to give the placement to an internal candidate. I told some of my frens, and apparently they gave me the same answer like I should be angry cos I got treated like a clown. But somehow, I guess my temper is too good. I didn’t et angry and yet I feel, it’s their policy, so I’ll just have to accept it.

Anyway, I turned down NIE too. Just hoping whatever choices I made this year is the right one. I hope for the best for myself, Justin and my friends!

I believe in Performance.

Been more than a year since I last login to Friendster.

There was this message that I almost forgotten about. It’s just Freaking funny when I saw that message. I just can’t believe that there are Singaporean guys who still do these kinda things. Anyway, I feel I’ll be ultra dumb if I were to even reply to this guy’s message and not to say comply with his question by meeting him up. Like WTF?

Here it goes:

Bintan Bintan Bintan…

Thought I would at least get some slight tan, but, it rained the next 2 days when we arrived.

So we ended up chatting and gossiping our day and nights, topping it with some wine and beers.

Was a good getaway with the gals and we literally became potential housewives when we reached.

When the power combines with $92, we managed to fill ourselves with 2 dinners and 1 brunch. We even made an impromptu meal just by looking at the TV programme that teaches us how to cook omelette with noodles. Ingredients? We took it from the MSG from the instant noodles!

I had fun bowling even though its just 2 sets. Forfeit was granted to Nana Peh and Koko Li, they ended up trading a 1min dance at the KTV lounge’s stage with half a bottle of Chivas!

I heart and awaits for the next trip!

Elope time

Waiting for the Gate to open

Camwhore during the 45min ferry ride

On the way to Nirwana Garden Resort

My idea! Idea right?!?

This pic looks abit freaky

Dinner Preparation

2 Dinners and 1 Brunch

Things to do on rainy days

Includes bowling

And forfeit to those with the lowest scores like 32?

And ending with a KTV performance

The Swimming Pool and Bintan Beach

Lastly, with our 8-course meal at Pasar Oleh Oleh before we say Bye to Bintan!

Just Drink Lah – Amara Sanctuary Sentosa

•June 28, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Had a 1-Day retreat with my Tb030 peeps at the Amara Sanctuary at Sentosa

I thought that I might be given a small room. End up, I was in awe when I entered the room. Big enough for 10 people and I love the toilet )you can practically sleep in the toilet)

Started our day at the beach, for a short while only.. There are so many changes at Sentosa (which means we haven’t gone there for ages). Play Volleyball and Dodgeball and we are all aching now.

Faith and Noi joined us like very very late, cos they took “4 hours” of train ride… ZzZ but still I’m glad they came cos I haven’t seen them for a long time!

Back at the hotel at around 11pm and we started playing our drinking games. We weren’t that alcholic-aly drinkers so we only bought 12 cans of beer + 1 full bottle of vodka + 1/4 full of rum. After a series of Ace-King game, we finally conclude ourselves bad-drinkers. HAHA. Surprisingly, Brandon shocked us with his new stunt and new personality. This is so fun and no words can ever described how Brandon acted after all the games and drinks.

Best of all, we have a new tagline from Brandon: Just Drink Lahhhhh.. I especially like the di di tiu game (mind you, this can only be played only and after you are HI), cos we saw how blur each and everyone is.

PS: Brandon, I love and miss your laughter – LOL

We headed to RWS for a see-see-look-look session and I was disappointed with the Victoria Secrets outlet. So small. Haiz. Casino externally look exactly like Genting and even the security guard who jaga the place looked like he was transferred from Genting. Btw, there was even a super big Singapore Pools outlet where you can bet on horse racing at RWS too.. It’s just so casino. Oh, we saw a Peacock bringing his young around the carpark. So Cute!

Not much of an attraction unless we go to the USS. I await September and our next outing.

JB Trip

•June 24, 2010 • 2 Comments

Went JB with Yc, Yh, Zh and Woan Ting!

Short, Fun & Full!

Just kept eating like there’s no tomorrow.

Ate Sushi, Dunkin Donuts, Seafood!

Bought stupid things like instant noodles, shavers, Pocky, Spaghetti and Tomato sauce LOL.

Yh went to cut his hair, looks so much cooler now. We went to Foot massage, my legs just felt dam shiok.

Some of the things there are cheap some are not. Things for eg like Chu Qian Yi Ding, cost like $4+? Whereas my peppermint scrub from Bodyshop cost RM29 when SG is selling at SGD24? So I just bought it.

Burnt only $60 with food and more food, supermarket shopping and foot massage! Good deal~!

Went to Wisma, City Plaza, Vivo and Kumon as well

Supermarket Spree!

Sinful appetite

Loots

Our Foot Massage

Delicious Seafood Dinner!

Ending with a group photo…
